So I'm a bit upset.

Courting clients freelance is never easy, but you kind of get a feel for when someone is going to go with you over the competition.  However my freelancer senses went off a couple of days ago and I emailed a prospective client to remind them of our impending shoot.  Low-and-behold they're going with someone else!

Grumble...and after all the work I did with coming up with a year long prospectus and doing a test shoot for them...it's just upsetting to hear "Well we really like your work, but there's someone closer"

Closer?  Closer?  I'LL MOVE!!!

GAH!

I feel for you, but that is a reality of any business.

Get a voodoo doll, stick in a few pins and then move on.  Maybe he'll be unhappy and you'll get him the next time.

Better that than being shitted on by your competition.
