If we don't count the pictures taken during our vacation or the shots I take of the kids regularly, I'm afraid to say I haven't shot in months. I actually haven't had a model shoot yet this year, so I'll end this year without a single model shoot.

I've asked in an earlier thread how some people with a full-time job and a family find the time to shoot and haven't found the solution yet. It's so bad that I now start telling models that express an interest in shooting with me that I might take quite a while before I get back to them to schedule a shoot. Maybe next year will be better.

Hey, that's a New Year's resolution.

Usually I shoot a couple of times a month. Sometimes less, depending on what comes my way.  I'm one of those advanced hobbyist types.  I don't have to shoot myself ragged.

I never keep any real track of how often i work.  It probably averages out to twice a month or so, though I've had periods where I shot every week for a couple months and one serious dry spell where I didn't shoot at all for a few months.  Fortunately there's always plenty of Law + Order on TV for the slow periods.

I used to shoot 3 to 4 times a day (depending) when I was in ATL.
Now I shoot whenever someone hires me or when the mood or model moves me.

Hum, all these professional full-time photographers on here make my shooting
schedule look really bad indeed. Finding models and working around my real
job are the main drivers in my shooting shcedule. Based on that I am lucky
to shoot more that once a month. I, however. do make up for it when I attend
events and shoot many models of several short days.

I try to shoot daily, whether it be of modeling, landscapes, or still work. I hate when I don't take pictures..the day sucks when I haven't touched that shutter button. I guess that's just me though since I see a lot of people shoot once a month.
