Hi there Just wondering everyones fave model is, who aspires you to work harder in this business!

My Idol is Trish Stratus, I admire her personality the fact that she is so down to earth, puts her heart and soul in to everything she does and all her pictures have lots of life and enegy in them, aside from that she is beautiful and has a body to die for!

If you mean which model I've worked with, it's Mayan Lee [#2422] hands down.  I've said it before and meant it:  No her, no me.

As for models I haven't worked with [yet], currently there's a four-way tie between Kumi [3707], Storm [#350],  Kortinibird [#30793] and Black Widow [#10674]

Top 3? Verushka, Joan Severance, and Kate Moss.

Some more? And I'll keep these contemporary, or at least relatively so. Linda Evangelista (for a little old-school touch), Milla Jovovitch, Maggie Rizer, Angela Lindvall, Shalom Harlow, Stella Tennant, and the next level down includes a whole TON of models most of which happen to be slavic. Among that list would include three models I love to work with here in Eastern Europe: Martina Karaban, Iris Grbic, and (my favorite) Ana Rocic. Favorite non-models as photographic subjects? Natalie Portman and Bjork.

Look no further than my avatar -- Jessica is my favorite.  She's on MM as a photographer, and she's pretty terrific on that side of the camera, too.  (MM #33539).  We have terrific chemistry.

More pictures of Jessica are in my profile's portfolio, and her profile includes many self-portraits.

Looking again at my picks, I must be on some sort of Ango-Nordic thing right now with all this tweed and fur-trimmed hoodies floating around on the streets. In a few months I might be feeling a bit more va-va-voom sexy, and then I suppose I'd probably be picking more the Gisele or Natalia Vodianova mode.

Oh, and favorite would-be model? The girl I saw riding in the tram the other day. Dark features, medium brown hair, brown eyes, sharp cheekbones and nose, very slightly full lips with a pronounced cupid's bow, roughly 172-174cm, and judging by her hands, a very delicate bone structure. My oh my oh my!

I love working with a lot of models, but you know who your favorites are when you do the shoot, and go through it, then look up at the clock and see the scheduled time is almost up...as if there was no effort.

Recently, my two favorites have been Kerri Taylor (MM 982) and Marci (MM 20795).  But like I said, I love working with all the ladies I have worked with.  big_smile

My "fave" model:

A model who's not a no-show!
A model who is comfortable with her body
and enjoys shooting art/nudes.
A model who actually replies to E-mails.
A model who asks questions and actually
listen to the answers.
A model who's not escorted ..
A model who takes directions from the photog ..
A model who smiles and is able to make the
photog smile as well ...

From the viewpoint of someone who has to ask models to shoot for my catalog/site, I always look for very responsible models. To me, that makes a model a pro. I am always looking for models like Candy Keane and Missy Crabbe. When I find them, I hang on to them for dear life. They are good for their word and I have never heard one bad thing about them from either another model or a photographer. Can't beat that!

Dana, cannot agree more. Who doesn't think she is amazing? She also has a radiant personality, does loads of charity work, and hey, her boyfriend is a GORGEOUS prince. So hopefully she'll be a princess someday- she already is in my book! By far my fave model of now.

ROFLMAO....read my mind...I don't like those kind of threads. Reminds me of things like highschool homecoming queen (or king). You end up feeling sad if you're not picked, and it's a popularity contest. In general, I think any model that is not striving to look starved is inspiring. I think it's great that Victoria Secret encourages curves (not fat, but not bones). I may have to buy some of mine in the future ...I think have the bottom half taken care of though..hehe.

My favorite model is.......myself. Only because I try my best and I take this industry seriously. I treat it like a business. Yes, I do admire other models that do inspire me, but your fave model should be yourself cause only you can believe in you and only you can be driven to become a known model like heidi klum and so on......big_smile

Kristin Anne... possibly the most wonderful model not with an agency that I have ever worked with, and better in so many ways than the majority of the agency girls I have shot. I just can't say enough good about her.

The models in the +30 models thread that continue to strive to be better and better despite societies image of older people.  It is those models that make me unafraid of getting older in an image based world.
