Looking at a few of these threads with models worrying/moaning about the type of "shady" photographers that get in touch with them perhaps they should take a closer look at the type of images they are displaying and the way they present themselves to their potential market.
If you look like a clown then the only offers you are going to get are from the circus..

That must be the funniest thing I have ever laid eyes on! I can't stop laughing, I am sure to miss the school run at this rate! LOL

p.s can you advice an Agency that would be receptive to models that may wish to pursue clown/circus lookalike modeling. Obvioulsy, I lack the feline qualities required and will wallow in fashion hell in regret of what might have been wink

Notice it's the majority of rookie/net models that have this trouble?

I say the best way to avoid this is to stop seeking free shoots and come out the pocket and work with the best/reputable your area has to offer.

Coming into this business with the "get rich quick/hey look at me i'm a model" mindset will put a person in strange situations.

I have asked the all-knowing Dali, and he says I have to stay up all night and then go look at some rocks on the beach for an answer...
