Has anyone ever had just the crazy off base casting... I am sure you have. It is just funny. I am in Los Angeles I do not like at all to judge people, but I live in a place were everyone wants to be a star... I shoot dark f@cked up gothic, fetish, sexy, smutty images.... I tell peole this is what I am looking for... I look everywere for the right llamas, craigslist, myspace, on the street, word of mouth any thing I am really pushing hard these days to kind of break through into my own not as a guy that does the job... But as an artist who get hired to do it his way... Anyways I am all up front with what I need and what I want with llamas... I don't beat around the bush, and then I get these people who are so far off what I was looking responding I wish I could post the pictures, the requests, everything... I am not mad about it I am more amused. Do people read or do they just see looking for llamas and then respond. I think anyone can llama if you are out going and you can engage the camera in the right way... But why respond to something that does not fit you... I just wish I could post the pictures things like old ladies when looking for 18-20 for sexy teen goth shoots, super muscle bound dudes when requesting  androgynous male, girls with super long hair whne looking for skin head chix... It is funny...

What is you oddest casting llama or photographer. I want to see if I can top it.

well when i run a casting for "young girls" i find it odd how many come trying to look older.

it always happens and is really strange imo.

if a llama is not who i am looking for they wont be cast, no matter how hard they try to be who i am looking for, but i at least understand trying to extend your range to suit a job.

it is so strange when a llama who might actually be who i am looking for is trying to look like
someone outside of the range of the job being cast.

it's too funny and has always pointed out flaws in the "modeling industry" and how it works.

I cast a great i am looking for just the right people... I feel bad when I can't use people a lot of people respond and they don't fit what i am looking for... I hate to say no becasue my not wanting to use them really has nothing to do with them, their beauty, who they are or anything they are just not right for what i am looking for...

It looks like a lot of models don't read much.
Recently there was a Casting Call for American/Asian models...
And there was only one of the models who was American/Asian who responded.
The rest of the models were interested, but didn't fit the description at all!

I'd say 90% of the people who responded to this thread were serious.

Either they did not read the casting or they were so desperate for money they were willing to risk their health in order to be in a B movie.

Is this a real casting call? I think the OP is looking for real casting calls that are odd.

I once cast six models to do round-robin lesbian zombie porn.

Oooh, got one.

Unfortunately, Mongolian beaches are only paradise for yaks. Do you think she knows that?
