I am working with a number of other writers, editors, photographers and models to publish a web zine targeted at the hobbyist photography and modeling segment. The very segment that most of the users of Model Mayhem call home.

I should be clear - this is a web zine, and while we have some professionals working with us and we all have some nice goals, I'm not going to blow sunshine here and say new magazine! and make grandiose claims. We're doing this professionally, but it's also a labor of love as we all play in this sandbox.

That said, if anyone is interested in writing, I'd like to talk to you. Specifically, articles about the hobbyist market that we all know and love. Tried-and-true teeth-gnashers like rates, escorts and other FAQ items that could stand an article-length thrashing would be great. Articles of tips on how to improve your craft work. Humor is good, too! An article about something as seen from the viewpoint of a noob, or a GWC or such might be amusing.

If you're interested in participating, our first issue deadline is Feburary 15th (for a March 1st publication). The premiere issue is about 75% full, so special consideration will be given to anyone who wants to commit to writing an article for each bi-monthly issue.
