What a girl wants....
or better yet, what a girl needs. Letâs try something a little different. I read a lot of advice given to models and photographers about not having the necessary images for a given genre. I rarely see why or any examples given. The aim of this thread is to educate and give insight into what is needed to establish a great portfolio for the professional world. The images that make them more marketable. What works, what does not and most importantly why? Categories: Editorial Fashion, Commercial Fashion, Catalog, Commercial (lifestyle), Editorial, Headshot, Glamour, Art, Fine Art and Character Portraiture. The rules are simple: - List the category and target audience (model, photographer, MUA etc). - Post an example photo (does not need to be your own). - Provided an explanation as to why or what it is that makes this a good image. Optional: - Comparative 2 photos, average verses good. - Post a link to a model, artist that exemplifies the genre. Either in or out of MM Feel free to post more then once. Jan 05 07 01:15 pm Link |
