Okay, I'm VERY irritated about the fact that some chick in Houston is impersonating me. She's stolen my pics and says she's a stripper, 22 years old and goes to U of H. She's been doing it for three months at least and the webmaster of the website was the one to email me about the situation. She's been inviting people to meet with her and had been very active on the message boards there. I'm not sure if she actually suceeded in meeting people, but I'm disgruntled. How can I remedy this situation? Is there any legel action I can take?

welcome to the net...profiles get stolen, pics get stolen.

you are lucky , your pics are not on some escort site. Better check.

send a letter to the webmaster, if it is not removed get a letter from a lawyer.

Serious answer... I don't think you look like a stripper.  You're a beautiful girl.

The best answer was already given... the webmaster should remove it.

As has been said, the webmaster is your best bet.

As far as legal action:  Yes, technically you could sue her, and you could probably win.  Would it be worth the amount of time it would take and the expense required to do it?  Probably not.

If you don't hold the copyright on the pics you should contact whoever has it.  They'd probably be interested in this as well.
