You find a wonderful photographer with awful editing skills. How can you delicately tell the photographer of the poor editing quality?

After looking at a lot of the portfolios here, I was shocked at the amount of poorly edited photos. What's even worse is that I need the cleanest shots possible for makeup. I don't want to get stuck with bad photos. But, I have a feeling there is no delicate way to handle this.

I would think that a makeup artist would want unedited images to best show their makeup skills.
