The Naked Truth
.....there is an agreement that "nudity" will command a certain attention, right. But just because one gets naked doesn't means it is "artistic" or a great picture. Your thoughts, please! Dec 19 06 06:44 pm Link like i said... if you have nudity, there will be more people who will look at your profile. we like nudity. Dec 19 06 06:44 pm Link obviously Dec 19 06 06:45 pm Link ::applause:: Dec 19 06 06:45 pm Link what? After all, "Taste is the enemy of art"(Picasso). So, do your thing, have fun...create. Dec 19 06 06:48 pm Link nudity and a great picture are two seperate things, and are great when combined case closed Dec 19 06 06:48 pm Link The most viewed picture in my portfolio is a non-nude, and the one with the most comments is a non-nude image as well. Obviously, just because someone takes off their clothes doesn't make a photo artistic. Nudity can either add to an image or distract from an image; it's all in the intent and context of the shot. I don't think nudity necessarily means more views, but there are other factors incolved as well. For instance, it depends on where you're showing your work. I have a gallery on www.usefilm.com, and on that site the nude images get many more views than the non-nude ones. So, in some ways I like Model Mayhem; I think there may be a better crowd over here as they're actually looking at my non-nude images. Interesting, wot? -P- Dec 19 06 06:49 pm Link Altruist Photography wrote: Yup. Dec 19 06 06:49 pm Link I agree but a nude with yellow caution tape is edgy and creative. That is a given.
