.....there is an agreement that "nudity" will command a certain attention, right.  But just because one gets naked doesn't means it is "artistic" or a great picture.  Your thoughts, please!

The most viewed picture in my portfolio is a non-nude, and the one with the most comments is a non-nude image as well. Obviously, just because someone takes off their clothes doesn't make a photo artistic. Nudity can either add to an image or distract from an image; it's all in the intent and context of the shot.

  I don't think nudity necessarily means more views, but there are other factors incolved as well. For instance, it depends on where you're showing your work. I have a gallery on www.usefilm.com, and on that site the nude images get many more views than the non-nude ones. So, in some ways I like Model Mayhem; I think there may be a better crowd over here as they're actually looking at my non-nude images.

I agree but a nude with yellow caution tape is edgy and creative. That is a given.
