Hey there!

My name is Tony Mikhnevich and I'm a professional independent filmmaker and award winning Director of Photography. I’ve been a cinematographer for more than 10 years now, about 5 of them I spent in the film industry, with experience in commercial, music video, television and narrative cinematography and photography.

I've worked on numerous projects, acted as a DP, Cameraman, 1st Assistant Camera, Gaffer and Grip & Electric, arranged in- and outdoor shootings with natural and/or controllable lights. Having this experience allows me to create stunning imagery that tells the story as well as work efficiently to hit the required deadlines.

As a Director of Photography and a film entusiast, I love the cinema for its visual aspect, but at the same time I fully understand that spending all available set time on setting each and every frame until it starts to shine bright will not benefit the movie.

The second thing I'm really passionate about is the story. Well written and deeply rooted script is responsible for 99% of the success of a motion picture. I realize that my role and top priority on set as a Director of Photography is to help the Director bring their vison to the screen and make it the best it can and should be.

I own a Canon C300 mark II with Rokinon set of Cine lenses and Aja Ki Pro Quad recorder for 4K 4:4:4 Prores footage. Among editing software I prefer Adobe Premiere, thus can also work on Final Cut.

I have also partnered with several equipment houses that provide affordable lighting and grip rentals when needed. 2 x 4Ton G&E Trucks that can be downgraded to any size to meet the needs of any production. Any additional crew members are also not a problem.

Can work under time, budget and excess atmospheric pressure. Ultimately, self-dependent, professionally curios and attentive to details.
