Hi, my name is Rod Allsopp and I'm a photographer living in the Bristol area of the UK. I joined Model Mayhem in the hope of meeting people, models, MUA's, etc who would be willing to collaborate on photo ideas and projects.

I shoot with a full frame Nikon camera and quality lenses (although there are still a couple on my shopping list). I have also recently begun putting together some lights for studio and location work. My home studio is setup in my flat and is suitable for headshots, and possibly a little more if approached creatively.

I process and retouch all my own photos.

My current approach to my portraits has been to have a general idea of a "look" for the finished photo/s but to also allow the shoot to find it's own way, usually resulting in a few great photos, while still achieving the goal of the original idea. I am yet to work on a shoot or project with a definite brief, but this is something I am very keen to do.
