Award-winning photographer Chris Ahern has work featured throughout the Metro Detroit area. His gallery at MIX Bricktown includes work featured by CBS 62's "Seen In Detroit", Visit Detroit, Marriott Hotel, Hell Yeah Detroit, Twenty20, Detroit Respect, Curbed, The Official Movement Afterparties, and more. This gallery is also a recently reached the Top 5 finalists for WDIV's “Vote 4 The Best 2016” Awards for Best Gallery of Metro Detroit.
Chris also has gallery at Catfe Lounge in Ferndale, where profits are donated to the Ferndale Cat Shelter.
As of June 2016, his award-winning "Sunset at Scott Fountain" canvas can be found on display at Woodward and Pike in Pontiac, where it was awarded an Honorable Mention in The Canvas Pontiac Awards judged by a panel from the Detroit Institute of Arts. His work has also been featured at The Rustbelt Marketplace, Eastern Market (All Things Detroit), Cranbrook Science Center, and The Russell Industrial Center and previously had a seasonal gallery at Schramm's Mead in Ferndale.
Chris Ahern Photography was also a Featured Artist in Charivari Detroit 2016. Previously, he has shot events such as MIX Bricktown’s Drunkbrunch 2016, The Official Movement Afterparty at Bert's Warehouse, Trunk Shows for The Brett Johnson Collection and The APSE Foundation's Regional Event at MGM Grand, among others.
Chris is also available for hire and has experience in music events, business events, engagements and weddings, pets, interiors and exteriors, architecture, and more.
