Hello and Welcome!

I am Style Gates! I wear many hats in this industry, but first and foremost I was BORN to do makeup! Originally from Boston, MA., I became fascinated with theater and enjoyed everything about the costumes from the makeup to all the specific details of the garments. So naturally, I love to create different looks, whether it be makeup or fashion. Working as a licensed Esthetician by day, I worked extensively to build my clientele by freelancing for weddings, local stylist look books, indie films, local mags, and even proms.

Moving to Atlanta in 2009 was the best choice I ever made! Still continuing to grow and work as an Esthetician, I immediately began putting in footwork and introducing myself to area salons and boutiques, as well as attending networking events. From there Style Gates was born!

In addition to doing makeup for area photographers, I have broadened my horizons as well. Styling has ALWAYS been a secret love of mines, and about a year ago, I got my first real opp to style someone for an event. Now I'm hooked! I enjoy the challenge of choosing looks and providing an easy transition (financially) to those wanting "spice up" or "spice down" their look.

As a fanatic of african and middle eastern jewelry I managed to end up with an incredible collection through the years, and at a few photo shoots I was approached by the stylist to actually borrow an item that I am wearing that day.
So just recently, I opened and online jewelry boutique, with pieces that I chose personally. Im beyond excited!

The everyday person is my favorite, but of course living out here in Atlanta, celebrities come a dime a dozen. I am humble, I am professional and I always strive to achieve satisfaction in whatever I do.
