Precious Stone is an American born, British raised swimwear designer... And yes, Precious Stone is her birth name. Born to an English mother and Puerto Rican father, her architectural background and love for fashion has fueled her passion of designing to create the swimwear line, Juelle, commonly referred to as Swim by Juelle. Born in Newark, NJ on the 17th of September, Stone says her love for design started very early.

Stone’s aunt discovered her talent for design after one day noticing that she had built a perfectly structured city out of legos at the tender age of two. Years later, assuming that Architecture was her calling, her aunt motivated her to pursue a career in Architectural design. Stone worked for an Architect for several years in school whilst in Europe, and continued to study Architecture and design. In spite of following her aunt's direction, after reading an article about the dreadful experience women associate with swimsuit shopping, Stone became intrigued to explore the topic further...and hence uncovered a deeper craving – fashion.

Having no formal fashion training, Stone emerged herself in the industry, reading anything she could find, attending varies fashion shows and gained vast knowledge of the industry for her launch of Juelle in Spring 2011. As Stone states: “I wanted to create a line which oozed sex appeal, without compromising a woman’s comfort level, so I focused my attention to the structure of the suit.”

Since its launch, Swim by Juelle has gained popularity and international exposure through showcasing in numerous fashion shows. She has showcased in New York, Harlem and Miami Fashion Weeks. Her work can be seen in countries like Japan, Brazil, Portugal, England and China. Her ambition to build a strong clothing brand has lead the brand to focus specifically on producing swimwear pieces that are sexy, fun and daring. This internationally published designer designs swimwear to express a bold statement: “I am sexy, I am confident, and I am a Juelle”.
