Bardia was born in the ever green city of Rasht in the northern part of Iran.

He purchased his fisrt camera in 2008. Although heavily involved with studies at the research faculty of University of Toronto at that time, exposure to photography from childhood through his parents led to his renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for photography. Since then, he started capturing different subjects and sceneries and advanced his skills by grasping a better understanding of different photography techniques and thereby developing his own concept of photographic art.

Through his photography Bardia pursues to capture scenes and events and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world as he sees it.

Further, he believes that photography is a subjective process where one puts a part of reality into his personal vision and tries to capture an image with the emotions he feels at that moment.
