Hi Everyone! Im Athena

I am the president and editor of XPRESSIONS Magazine, a professional make-up artist & Part time Photographer who specializes in high fashion, glamour, unique, wedding, bridal, formal make-up and much more. I started in the Makeup Artistry Field in 2005 and founded my company in December 2010. I like to experiment with different types of approaches with make-up. I range from clean and elegant, emphasizing the natural beauty of my clients to the extreme “deviant” style. I commute on location in The City Of Kawartha Lakes To Toronto and the GTA providing make-up application and tailoring my product suggestions to suit the individual needs of my clients.

I am mainly self taught but have taken a certificate program for makeup artistry. I have studied many of my company idols over the past few years including MAC and Illamasqua capturing the unique styles they both have to offer. In time I have learned basic special effects and make-up for theater and photography.

I then developed my own style for formal and evening make-up emphasizing the eyes. The look is clean and polished without using too much product, allowing ones natural beauty to show through.
