It was with great regret and a deep sense of shock that I recently learned of Laura's death. It seems she fell from the balcony of a hotel in Mancester on Sunday. I worked with Laura on a couple of occasions and as well as her supermodel looks she was a very warm and friendly girl who is a pleasure and privilege for me to know. If her friends and family in Latvia ever get to read this they have my deepest sympathy.
