Kooley Designs creator Kameron Simpson is a third-year student at the University of California, Riverside. For this Southern Cali native,
the phrase “passion for fashion” is merely an understatement. Being forever known amongst her peers for being the chick with the flamboyant style that defies the norms of fashion, Kameron knew that this industry is where she belongs. Her desire to make her everlasting impression upon the industry started when she realized the lack of opportunities fashion has to offer in the Inland Empire area. After being graced with her very own sewing machine from her godmother during her first year as a student at UCR, the designer began bringing her sketches to life as she constructed garments right out of her dorm room, each piece stitched with creativity and charisma. With plenty of fashion shows under her belt, buzz-worthy designs and an ever-growing collection, Kooley Designs commands attention with stop-and-stare looks while aiming to please those fashionistas who love being set apart from normalcy.
