It looks like we will lock this event in for Sunday, June 27th and make it an all day event of shooting, networking, swimming, BBQing, sharing and learning among some of the absolute best photographers, models, MUAs and stylists in Central California (and beyond)!
Because this event will be held at the private residence of a friend of mine in the Clovis area and because I want to limit this event to the very best and the luckiest of models and photographers, I will only include 20 models, 20 photographers and as many of the best MUAs and stylists we can get to join us for this amazing event (no more than 20, of course). Photographers will contribute $20 each to sponsor the event. Models will be expected to bring their best wardrobes and looks, and the MUAs and stylists will provide the makeup and other "looking-good" materials. Models MAY BE expected to pay for the more expensive lashes or other beauty supplies, if they desire to receive them from the MUAs or stylists. This can be worked out among the models and MUAs/stylists, who may all know each other and have their favorites, anyway! :)
The concepts of this event will range from bikini shots in or by the pool, retro shots around or in antique/classic cars, retro shots in the garages/museums that house the cars, nice outdoor shots with a well-established backyard with nice large Eucalyptus Trees and a large open lawn area and picket fences and studio shots with backdrops in garages or elsewhere to whatever your creative minds can come up with at this fantastic location (as long as no nudity is involved). Bikinis will be the minimum amount of clothing or maximum amount of "exposure". To make sure that nobody is offended, everyone will need to show that level of modesty at this COMP event. However, no Under 18's will be invited to this event. Photographers asking models for nudity at COMP Events will be asked to leave and not invited to future COMP Shoots. There will be lots of creative lighting from many talented photographers that like to collaborate and share their lighting equipment, tips and ideas. It really is a fun and very talented group that loves to come together and create amazing sets and images!
This location will have all the comfort of home (and then some)! Please lock in your reservation soon, if you would like to participate in COMP Classics on Sunday, June 27th. If we end up with an overwhelming response, we may consider extending the event to Saturday, June 26th for a separate group. The "A Game" group will shoot on Sunday, though! :) Please RSVP ASAP!
