Though formally trained in the disciplined arts (illustrative graphic design and photography – Harris School of Advertising Art; and electronic drafting – Fall Business College), today artist William Corley expresses his love for the visual primarily through his passion for painting and photography. As has been said of Renoir, Corley’s gift is his ability to find interest and beauty in most any and everything.  When Corley looks upon the world, the world is alive and arrayed in the harmony of bold and vivid colors and light.

The real, unreal and surreal are insignificant distinctions to this artist.  To Corley there are “No Limits”,  no practical divisions between things of this existence except their expression in  brilliance, vibrancy and color.  Although his training will not allow him to break from strong composition and design elements, it is color and light that dominate his impressions in painting and photography.  Whether of nature, wildlife, landscape, or portraiture, Corley’s inescapable grounding in design and passion for color yield exceptional art. .
