My name is Mike. I am 36 years old. I live in Olde Towne Portsmouth with my Fiancée and our 3 cats. I have been involved in the modeling/photography scene in some form or another for 15+ years, started as a model and transitioned to photographer after some years. Starting off with film exclusively, I shot on and off for many years before sort of losing touch with photography as an artform. A few years ago I gifted myself my first DSLR as a birthday present and have been shooting pretty regularly ever since. Photography was always a hobby but it has become a passion now. I have had the honor of working with some truly amazing people in the last few years and taken some really beautiful pictures in the process, but I am always looking to branch out and network and work with new amazing people. I do need to clarify that I am merely a hobbyist. I work 65 hours a week and this is strictly an artistic outlet for me. I have not been published(nor have I attempted to be), I don't shoot weddings, I do not charge for photoshoots, I do not have models sign release forms, I do not generate any income from my photographs. I have, however, spent many thousands of dollars on cameras and equipment, and spent many thousands of hours learning about and honing my craft. As a result, I primarily shoot on a TF basis. There are rare occasions where I am willing to pay to work with a specific model, but these are few and far between and depend entirely on who that person is. (If this section sounds pointed or harsh it is because I have had entirely too many encounters recently where I have been messaged by a model inquiring about working together, only to have them quote me rates. Don't be that guy.)
