I'm the official photographer for the DC Weirdo Show and I regularly shoot several area burlesque performers as well as dance companies, Cupid's Undie Run, Capitol Improv (which runs No Pants Metro Ride, Pillowfight, and Survive DC), and have in the past been the photographer for the DC Fringe Festival and the Washington Improv Theater.

I am good friends with a talented body painter (http://www.heavydesigns.com/dccreators/). She and her husband run semi-monthly bodypainting sessions at a pub in Adams Morgan (DC) and we are always interested in working with models either at the monthly events or in private sessions.

While I'll occasionally hire models or be hired as a photographer, I prefer to work for free, and models are welcome to use my photos (with attribution) (so yes: TFP). I like the sense of liberation from feeling like everything needs to be perfect; it's a chance to more freely experiment and see what we come up with. And there's no risk of models feeling obligated or bound to do something they do not wish to do, which leads me to...
