When David was only a few years old his father gave him a camera which he begun to take his first pictures with, small impressions of how he perceived the world he lived in. Later he received a 16 mm camera and then a video camera. It was then a lot of ideas started to grow. He shot his first short film when he was 18 years old.

later he travels to Los Angeles to do a course in Los Angeles Summer Film Academy, at 19 he went to Madrid to study Film Production and Direction for 1 year at the TAI. He then returned to Bogota and got accepted at the Politecnico Gran Colombiano. Once finished his university studies he traveled to Cuba and studied Film Direction at the EICTV (International school of Film and Television in Sant Antonio) and in 2004 he finished his film and production studies at the CEEC in Barcelona.

From 2004 to 2007 he has worked at various communication agencies as a creative, copy, director and also producer.

In April 2008 he creates The Factory Entertainment, a creative agency and production company.

In November 2010 he wins the INVI awards for audiovisual Innovation, which was handed over by the RTVE (Spanish Radio and TV)

From the beginning of his career until today he has both acted as a Director, Writer or Producer at different kinds of productions such as feature films, short films, fashion films, music videos and commercials. He now resides in Barcelona where he makes different audiovisual projects.

Currently he is working with the postproduction of TRANSIENCE a film shot in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Dubai, Las Vegas, Shanghai, Stockholm, Uppsala, Ostersund, Paris, Waikiki, New York, Royal Bardenas and Barcelona.
