Over 30 years experience as a professional photographer.  My first paid jobs were shooting modeling photos for my high school fashion board, and shooting a full page ad for a local Harley Davidson dealer.

Bachelor of Science in Professional Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology.  Assisted some of the nation's foremost photographers in New York City, then returned to North Carolina to make Raleigh my base for commercial location photography.

Recently made the move into digital photography slowly but surely to achieve the same quality as my work shot on film.

I am committed to helping select models build their portfolios and achieve their goals at reasonable rates for portfolio sessions. However, like in life there are always exceptions - so I am always open to collaborating with people that are creative, enthusiastic and artistic.

I have Mini Portfolio rates - $150/1.5 hr session with 3 high-res edited shots. A professional MUA/HS can be included for an extra $100.

TFCD digital shoots:  models get a disc of low-res jpegs from which they pick up to 2 shots for me to process at higher resolution out of every 100 shot either on disc.

TFP film shoots: models get a contact sheet for every roll of film shot, to pick up to 2 8x10 images blown up/scanned on disc for their portfolios.

Additionally, I only pay models under the following circumstances:  1)  if I am being paid by a third party, in which case the model will be informed and compensation will be negotiated; or  2)  if the work is sold in an art gallery or for commercial/stock purposes, in which case you will receive a negotiated portion of my compensation.
