I try to convey the feelings and thoughts beyond words with my visuals. Ideally, I would like to create stories with my photography and help the model express herself the best I can. I like to create concepts rather just book sessions, if that makes any sense.

In erotica, I hope I celebrate the body as well as the act and emotion of sensuality rather than simply appeal to the lowest common denominator. The most important part of the body to stimulate is the brain, and a good sense of humor doesn't hurt from time to time, either.

I prefer to see the models I work with as collaborators rather than cardboard cutouts I simply move this way and that. i have no problem directing, but when working with someone, I really prefer their input.

Lately, I've been getting a volley of cut and paste messages from models who have not read my profile, previous casting calls or apparently viewed my portfolio. The reason I bring this up is that while these models may have worked with 'bajillions of photographers', they obviously haven't worked with enough to understand the importance of reviewing casting calls and the budget a given photographer is able to accommodate. I will no longer reply to these types of messages, as it wastes both our time, and I find it a bit unseemly to basically troll-fish for work, something I wouldn't expect from 'seasoned' models. My apologies for appearing rude, but this escalating circumstance and lack of manners from those who do it only to find out I can't shell out $500 for an hour shoot makes me feel compelled to respond in what will hopefully be a pre-emptive way. That said, I am unable to compensate models with anything other than tfp these days.

Please note: I have gotten a few friend requests that appear to random at best, perhaps so that I can be added to their 'friend collection.' Unless you would like to work with me, I really don't understand the need to be asked or accept these requests. If I get a FR without even the most rudimentary introduction, I'll delete it. If this offends you, I'm sorry, but I just don't understand why anyone would request this if they don't wish to communicate. I'm here to network as well, but friend collecting has never been of any help to me and shows you view it as a kind of advertisement. If you send an FR, anyway I'll know how much a profile actually means to you.
