I had the privilege to head up the photography program at the San Diego Art Institute in Balboa Park for a year - great shoots with a group of photographers and wonderful models. Great experience!

I appreciate the requests for friending from retouching artists, but I do my own. I also have very limited experience working with female models and so I don't usually accept friend requests from women. Not sexist - I just haven't found a way to photograph women that I feel shows them off to their best advantage.

I worked in the newspaper industry for 8 years. I have had the good fortune to have two shows of my photography in San Diego, and I have had the very good fortune to work with another photographer, YogaBear (MM#87840), on group photo shoots that have been both fun and educational.

Have worked with volunteer models in the past to create my portfolio. Am interested in expanding out and working with a larger selection of experienced models. Especially interested in unique juxtapositions: handsome muscular hunks with skinny Wally Cox types; Tough men with soft silk; effeminate men wielding a jackhammer....you get the idea!
