I have always wanted to be a photographer even before I bought my first camera. As a kid, I would linger in bookstores and look at photography books. I didn't know how I was going to be one, and at that time, I don't think I really cared If I were to be one or not. All I know is that I saw BEAUTY in the photographic arts, and started buying a couple books here and there.

Have been a writer and a media practitioner longer than I have been taking pictures, but I know that this passion isn't going away at all.

As a writer, we often struggle to "find our voice", or the way we write. As a relatively new photographer, I have that same feeling once again, of finding "my voice" in photography.

However, I lean towards portraits, maybe because of my theater orientation and training.
