*Originator of cool kits + catwalk concepts since 2000 *Publisher + Founding Editor of Exposure Magazine (Vancouver) *Creative Director of doLLHouse pRoductions, launched with a Vancouver cLub concept that quickly branched into fashion shows + PR *Fashion Director of Fashionfreakz.com, an innovative group capturing live footage of Vancouver events for the fledgling site's streaming-vid content *As Fashion Editor of THE LOOP magazine, i collaborated with emerging local talents to create 4 years of monthly fashion spreads..   

PRioR to all that, i studied Fashion Illustration with wild Parsons protegé Marc LaFleur - but noT before creating countless cut-out dolls (& clothes to match!) as an 8-year-old future fashion diva.. My creative curiosity took my apprenticeship to Van's deep Arts underground, curating & reviewing offbeat art shows before surfacing to multitask on self-directed projects with newly-created DollHouse Productions.

Shocked by the plethora of unsung local fashion talent, I & my dynamic dH dolls dusted off the cobwebs of Van's stodgy style wasteland & unearthed a wealth of local über-artists/ fashionistas whose skills have ignited many of my articles, events & exhibits fueling Van's stylie scene.. 

These days I'm driven as much by conscience as aesthetics, gravitating toward aRTisTs/ oddbaLLs who dare to break free from status-quo norms -- esp. those pracTicing ECO-FRIENDLY ETHICS, ie. ETHICAL FASHION {eg. NO fur/ leather/ wooL unless derived cruelty-free by natural moulting, seal-brushing etc.} 

* I BOYCOTT 'MADE IN CHINA' FOR ITS ECO ABUSES & ILLEGAL ANIMAL TRADES/ USES DRIVING EXTINCTION.

FACT:  Vegan alternatives exist in aLL sectors, so let's get truLy fashion-forward & STYLE SUSTAINABLY (FASHION = CHANGE!) 

CANADIANS:  Help STOP our shameful Commercial Seal Hunt, world's largest slaughter of marine mammals, by using our wallets & boycotting designers who still use fur/leather:  ALDO, BCBG, BEBE, D&G, DONNA KARAN (DKNY), FENDI, GUCCI, LUSARDI, MICHAEL KORS, PRADA, UGGS, VERSACE..
