I've been away from MM for a while. Pursuing other tastes which I plan to post in the photo gallery soon.
. I have a bunch of TFP projects. Contact me if you are interested. My work in other profiles http://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/credited/1043 Castings None - be safe. Photographer (since Spring of 1971) with a wide range of styles, Photoshop Wizard (I hate that term) since the Fall of 1997. I started with Photoshop 4. Graphic Artist. My photography is not specialized and I am comfortable with most any style or environment. I do have specialized projects though. My Photoshop skills are also not specialized and I am comfortable editing or adjusting just about anything. As a graphic artist I design just about anything as well. Zeds, postcards, business cards, letter heads, ad layouts, handouts, flyers, catalogs, programs, posters, etc. and prepare work for offset printing requirements. FYI - retired from the telecommunication industry, I can design, build and maintain almost anythng with electrons moving through them... I sing and play the guitar and speak Spanish... "I don't want to capture your attention. I want to rip it from you and leave you breathless." - Marliese Leitner MM#531941 "Art should never look new. It should be mature like the artist. And just as flawed." - PbJ MM#1043 "Experience and success aren't roads to follow, they are paths you make yourself..." - PbJ MM#1043 "It's beauty that captures your attention; personality which captures your heart and a good photograph which captures them all." - Black Swan MM#484036 "Lens cap." - Joseph Sullivan to Polly Perkins - Sky Captain "I can build a bridge over a wide river to a distant bank easier than I can build a bridge over my camera to a woman who is just in front of me..." - Black Swan MM#484036 "I eagerly await new concepts and processes. I believe the electronic image will be the next major advance. Such systems will have their own inherent and inescapable structural characteristics, and the artist and functional practitioner will again strive to comprehend and control them." - Ansel Adams, from the introduction to his book "The Negative", March 1981 "For me the future of the image is going to be in electronic form ... You will see perfectly beautiful images on an electronic screen. And I'd say that would be very handsome. They would be almost as close as the best reproductions." - Ansel Adams during an interview with Paul Hill (1975) "The negative is comparable to the composer's score and the print to its performance. Each performance differs in subtle ways." - Ansel Adams "At times a face can be so beautiful that I'm left without any meaningful words to discribe it. I see beauty in that face and it means more to me what I see in a woman's face, than what what I see on it." - Black Swan MM#484036 "I need good dreams tonight - or perhaps I could dream of something real that would look into my eyes when I first open them..." - PbJ MM#1043 "I think as I get older my work gets better because my eyesight is getting worse." - PbJ MM#1043 "What is bad photography? - The art of today might have been considered bad photography in the past. Today's bad photography might be the art of tomorrow. If by "bad" it is meant "unskilled" then the lack of vision or poor craftmanship will be apparent in any age..." - PbJ MM#1043 "Real? No camera image is 'real' - ever. It's just an image and it will never be anything more than that. Therefore, a photoshopped or edited image is no more or less real than any photograph. They are all just images. A set of coordinated blemishes on paper - nothing real at all... Further, reality is not in paintings or sculptures either. They are just images or shapes, stains or stones. Now, how the human eye and mind sees those images, sees art; well, that could be very real." - Black Swan MM#484036 I was asked, "How many pictures do you take on a shoot?" - - Sorry for being a little vague but I shoot just enough to do what I have to... The question is a little like asking, "How many miles do you take on a trip?" - PbJ MM#1043 To a young lady on FaceBook - As a photographer I have spent years looking to take a photograph of a one word poem. Many call me a fool, and my instructor almost failed me. Damn the critic and the grade - It's the effort of looking that is important.... - PbJ MM#1043 I'm a photographer living and working in Prescott Arizona. If you are in the area - please write and ask about my TFP projects list. I have about 10 active projects. I have only one rule for anyone that is on the set, wheather they are escorts or models. On my set everyone works. This includes getting in front of the camera. If you can't or will not work, you shouldn't come.
Tags - I've spent a fair part of my life working on my photography. If you aren't going to tag me about my work, please don't tag me at all. If you are tagging with only a "thank you", you are very "welcome" but it will be deleted.
