SEMI- RETIRED for now
I am not a professional photographer. I occasionally do it for the fun of it. It once used to be a passion, but not anymore and there are a lot better photogs on MM than me. My passion lies in the post production and creation of an image. I do not do raunchy or gruesome type of shots.I do not do Goth or fetish either. 🤨
I usually shoot my models with practically no makeup and then digitally apply it afterwards to suit their look, clothes or not, location, and the  mood. So far my success has been quite good and getting better. I have basically retired. Getting too old I guess???
I already have photographed some beautiful women. Mostly  international.I prefer that generally. More disciplined I find. I can still be approached if it is  worth my time and yours. I like to show my models what I am shooting during the shoot and sometimes get too caught up in my enthusiasm for a shoot especially if the model is right in sync with me and we are nailing the shots. A natural high for me.  I also like it  very much when a model will add some creative input and find some models will want to redo a shot when they see what I have taken and they  can improve on it. Professionals seldom need to do that. 
Also I have taught many  newbie models how to pose, greatly improving their chance to  get more paid shoots. Several of the models I have taught have gone on to well paying jobs and  careers. Models with potential like this I will go out of my way to teach them if they are up for it.
I also do not keep track of my models if we agree on a shooting date. It is for them to remind me. I do not pursue a model once we have talked and planned a shoot. I have had too many flake on me. That is why I like dealing mainly with real professional models.
I do not enter the POTD  too often anymore as I suspect there is “ block voting” ( I am not the only photographer who thinks this ) by friends and contacts for certain photographers on this site. I have seen some mediocre photos in that category win when others of a much higher quality lose by considerable margin.🤔
You cannot compete when the odds are stacked against you and you feel it is rigged.🤨

  I do not feel like entering too much anymore and if I do win I will not count it. Moved on to other things more productive. Also I have noticed that the quality in the contests has deteriorated considerably in the last few years. Many so-called photographers have little understanding of lighting and composition.
