I love series of two images, but only if they are done right. And this my friend, is. :) I especially like the bottom image. I love the color temperature in these two shots and the black clothing complements it nicely.

great concept and series. you got the overall shot to tell the story and the close up to add drama. very nicely done

Wonderfully captivating! I am intrigued by the angle of the first shot and the solidarity....to be followed by a beautifully simplistic detail.

you create music! this is beautiful. It's a picture like this which makes me realize i have to expand my vocabulary to give the proper praise.....first the color has so much emotion, even though it seems color has been drained from the picture; the fact that it is drained makes the violin stand out even more, and give off massive amounts of emotion. It's as if it's singing loud and clear, singing his song. I also love that you made it a series because in the first picture so much is established. the man is alone on the steps and you capture loneliness perfectly, him in the middle of the steps alone, surrounded by so much repetition, it's like an echo seeing all those steps, same pattern, even like limbo. the second picture is the close up of the violin and that is what communicates this mans song.
