it's entitled "KILLING SOFTLY" - greatly influenced by the films: "THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE" "BODY HEAT" "WE ONCE WERE WARRIORS" -
The story is about a woman who runs her father's cafe - located just off the Res, she is married to an abuse and tormented by her family for not marrying well. A younger, handsome stranger hitchhiking comes along, and asks for work. The two have a love affair and she asks him to help her kill the husband.
When her husband is killed, the stranger learns that she had planned it from the beginning to find someone, seduce them, and have them take the rap killing her husband.
We start casting in three weeks. Starting principal photography in late March through April.
