July 31, 2010 9:40pm Love the lighting, color tone, and emotion. Weirdly enough, it illustrates my reason for not showing the model's eyes, or the fact that you don't necessarily have to see them to connect with a particular scene that is being played out. In this scene, I don't have to view the model's eyes to see that the bottle of water is refreshing him from the blistering heat; some actions and moment transcends a look. Moments like these are visceral and clearly understood without the eye-to-eye connection and doesn't lose a bit of impact for the exclusion.
