March 06, 2010 9:17pm yes, the colours are gorgeous; yet, just slightly muted (perfect). Brooding...the yellow and the red- and the shade partly open in the background- it all blends to suggest something quietly turbulent; subtle and powerful. like it might erupt at any moment, or fizzle into nothing. love this shot!
