It captures the idea of the fight we ladies have inwardly with ourselves as to how "beautiful" we are, how we can be, and so on. The struggle that is never gained as someone prettier is always bound to come along. The broken mirror is a mix of shattered dreams, shattering the "image" if you will, of ones self...the models stance indicates deep thought and perhaps a type of giving up the fight to win the battle that will never truly be won..as was said...there is always some other prettier face.
Its how WE see ourselves, OUR fight... not necessarily how others see us.
