Just wanted you to know some additional facts about Elvgren art images. B&B does NOT own all the rights. They do own 292 images per Federal Court Order. I do not have any issue today with them or this fact. In fact if you want to use any of these 292 B&B owned Elvgren images I do insist that you license with them for their 292 images.
However FAN MAIL is NOT one of these 292 images... Elvgren painted more than 400 pinups.
I own the Elvgren trademarks, signed by B&B and upheld in Federal Court. I also own artist derivative copyrights, as I have painted and replicated over 200 Elvgren paintings.
I use to own the ORIGINAL ELVGREN painting FAN MAIL, (that your are coping here)
I also used to be licensed with B&B from 1995 through 2001 and paid them over $250,000 in licensing fees.
I own the Elvgren the Elvgren trademarks (signed, approved by B&B and made Federal Court Order). I have replicated and published Elvgren fine art lawfully for over 14 years. You need to get and see the Federal Court record of Joyce document 2001. FAN MAIL is not listed in the 292 official records as Elvgren copyrights owned by B&B, however I have replicated it and reproduced it. All new publication are from my painting, that was lost and thought destroyed, found, saved and first republished by me.
Note: These statements and facts are consistent with my B&B Binding arbitration, and Federal Court Orders, which ID more than 100 Elvgren images not owned by B&B and that B&B formally granted to me ownership of the Elvgren trademarks, as Elvgren sold all rights to B&B. Thus ended my relationship with B&B. Fully authorized reproductions, prints and replica paintings of FAN MAIL can be purchase from me, as governed and protected by this 2001 Binding Agreements and the Federal Court Order and rulings.
I am ONLY saying this here because it is confusing to see that non "B&B Joyce Documents" of Elvgren images are being confused and clouded today, confusing as to who owns what IP or entitlements.
I do not want my fully authorized reproductions of my FAN MAIL image reduced in value, nor the history of my long time 16 year promotion and re-creation of the Elvgren revival lost in a haze and forgotten.
The only thing I asking here is credits and proper IP consistency listing to the Joyce Documents of B&B copyrights, and my first ground breaking Elvgren work, TM and IP rights.
This means that FAN MAIL and many others are NOT listed in the Joyce Document and ARE the proper use rights of the Vancas/Elvgren Art Archive and collection fully adjudicated and protected by the signed PERMANENT B&B/Vancas Binding Arbitration OF 2001 and Federal Court Orders.
There would be no Elvgren revival without the first efforts of myself and the Vanguard galleries.
I know this is just legal junk, I mean no harm, just trying to get thing straight when listed or implied incorrectly to the public.
