December 29, 2009 3:26am The title is very interestingly reflected in this implied relationship, with your companion echoing and mirroring your own performance, but with telling differences: a flimsier, see-through, more vulnerable costume; a less extreme version of the pose (which seems similar, yet shyer and more defensive); and a general sense that she is marginalised, placed out-of-focus, almost a photographic inset. Indeed, there is even a sense of forced perspective, making her appear as if she might be your toy placed on a shelf rather than a figure in the background. By contrast, your own pose is dramatic and sensual; your outfit as decadent as your companion's yet strong and impervious (and wickedly hostile, with the addition of those heels); and even the surface on which you are posing reflects the relationship, as you seem to be clawing at it and almost torturing it in the intensity of your deadly passion.
