August 06, 2009 2:41pm This is an awesome photo. The reason it really caught my eye is because it's more of a real life shot. Reminds me of a picture someone close to you would take without any preparation, and yet the lighting is wonderful.
June 15, 2009 12:33pm Not sure why, but almost never see women in pictures reading, unless they are pin-up style cheeky "ooo look at me I'm on the toilet reading the newspaper" kinda funny foolishness. This photo caught my eye right away. Beautifully lit, simple angle/composition, and lovely natural colors. It stood out. Glad you thought enough of it to include it in your port. Bravo! on the other photos as well.

There is something about this pose and your attention to the book instead of the camera leaves the viewer of the piece pondering and entranced at the same time. Overall, I love this image, I wish this was printed and framed, I would hang it on my wall.
