Anyone shooting video with a Canon DSLR using a SDHC card? If so what brand is successful for you? I just bought 2 PNY class 10 cards (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/7 … _SDHC.html )and they are major fail with buffer overrun. Yea, I should have read the reviews before I bought, but I didn’t. Jul 14 11 08:17 pm Link Sandisk Class 6... But I haven't done more than brief tests. Jul 14 11 08:30 pm Link Thanks. PNY worked fine for a few test right out of the package. But then it started getting buffer overruns. Works ok about every 5th time I hit record. The other times, 3 seconds in recording and they crap out. Currently using magic lantern firmware with CBR set to 1.3, no buffer issues. Jul 15 11 02:01 am Link Lexar Professional 16gb, 133x Speed. No problems unless I shoot at very high ISO at night with Qscale set too high. Jul 15 11 05:25 am Link Robert Sawin wrote: +1 Jul 15 11 11:36 am Link Robert Sawin wrote: I agree! There are cheaper memory cards, but I've had problems even before buying an SLR. Previously I've had cards that wouldn't record, were easily corrupted or the card reader in my computer wouldn't read them. No such problem with Sandisk Extreme cards. Jul 15 11 11:56 am Link |
