THE SHORT VERSION – About Me + Why Model Mayhem?

I am a professional photographer and licensed pilot. I travel the world shooting aerial and landscape photography for travel magazines. Primarily Flying Adventures magazine and also National Geographic magazine. At home I love to create beautiful images of women. I have helped women produce their professional portfolios (model and acting of many sorts), and I simple have a great time creating beautiful art from the female form… Nudes, Lingerie, Swimwear, Fashion… let’s be creative and produce interesting art!

Since I am in this for fun, I can work for free, trade or any budget. I am open to all possibilities. Just propose something and I will most likely say yes.


THE LONG VERSION –

I am a Native Southern Californian who has been shooting photographs since a very young age, winning numerous photography awards. I have shot most everything, from people to landscapes, products and nudes, food and industrial, weddings and architectural, under-water and aerials, commercial and fine art, publicity and advertising, black & white and color, realism and abstract…

I am formally trained at the internationally renowned Art Center, College of Design, in Pasadena, California, where I studied photography, film, art direction, packaging, design, and illustration. In addition to this art degree, I have two advanced degrees in Business.

In addition to photography, I am a magazine publisher. I created Flying Adventures magazine, a lifestyle travel magazine for owners and passengers of private airplanes. As Director of Photography, I art direct and edit, and shoot myself, landscape and aerial photography for the magazine. I am a licensed pilot (land and sea planes, and instrument rated) and own and fly various aircraft.

I developed a methodology for composing photographs while flying airplanes myself, allowing me to have total control over capturing the exact composition for spectacular in-the-air photography. I have traveled to many parts of the world, obtaining a foreign pilots license where needed, capturing interesting perspectives of in-the-air aerial images most people rarely get to experience.

My work is extensively published. Many as cover photos and large feature story opening photographs in national and international publications. I am available for commissioned assignments. Outdoor landscapes, travel, people and aerials are my primary work. My photography is also available for private collection. My work is shown in galleries, displayed in businesses and homes, and held in private collections by serious art collectors and people who simply appreciate my work and want it for their personal enjoyment.

My personal interest is creating fine art photography of beautiful and erotic images of the female form. I would like to selectively work with women who would like to be creative in producing interesting images. Like I said above, I have worked with Nudes, Lingerie, Swimwear, Fashion… and I am open to all ideas. I can help you with your career, or we can just have fun and be imaginative.
