As an older amateur photographer my interest in photography started in the early 70's. I shot a lot of scenic photo's from all over the USA while on camping trips, then matted and framed them. They were displayed in many different coffee shops & stores in Kalamazoo, South Haven Saugatuck and, Three Rivers Michigan. I attempted to sell them, with little success.
It was after that I decided to learn portrait photography and took several portrait lighting classes at the local Art Institute .
I have been shooting portraits off and on since 2000, mostly friends and family and friends of friends and family, people I know. I joined MM to see if I could build up a portfolio of people I don't know. I have photographed a few great MM models so far and am hoping to do more.
I do both location and studio photography, color and b&w. There is a complete portrait studio in my home. I strive to provide a fun and relaxing environment with models, and friends. You are always welcome to bring someone with you.
I usually work with female models, but am always open to new projects. 
While hoping to build a portfolio at this time, in the process maybe I can help you build yours as well.
