For over twenty-eight years I have owned and operated salons in San Diego, California with my wife.

In 1994 and 1996, I was published in Passion Magazine for my haircutting and coloring techniques. Modern Salon magazine listed Oliver’s Hair Design as one of top ten salons in San Diego, CA.

In 1995 and 1996, I received an award for my exceptional design and creativity along with my passion for creative hair design. My work has also been published in Modern Salon Magazine, Tony & Guy and PureOlogy. I was recognized and awarded for my hard work, along with my passion for haircutting, coloring, creative photo shoots and in-salon education.

Since 1977, I have trained exclusively with Vidal Sassoon, Mastey de Paris, Alan Benfield Bush, L’anza, Tony & Guy, Enjoy Hair Care, PureOlogy, Colure True Hair Care and others. I have graced the stage in front of hairdressers at seminars and trade shows throughout the United States and Canada, along with my exclusive photo shoots.

I believe in the importance of showing your work and in making a statement.
