My name is Nida (pronunciation: ne-tha). I was born in United Arab Emirates and moved to California when I was 9 years old. My parents are Pakistani- Punjabi. Thus, I can fluently speak Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. I've been fortunate enough to travel around the world and embrace many cultures, which make me who I am today-- an advocate for women's rights and self-acceptance. I attended University of Missouri Kansas City for my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Thereafter, I attended Florida Coastal school of law for my Juris Doctorate. I currently reside in Los Angeles.

All my life I struggled with finding a balance between my religious beliefs as a muslim and finding success in my life-long dream as a model/actor. Thus, although I did not have the support of my family and friends within the Pakistani community, I never gave up on my dreams. I really enjoy working out and dancing-- and to promote a healthy body image. Of course, education was also really important to me as well because I truly believe that women should not be limited to the stereotypical norms. Thus, I pursued a degree in law to further my interest in advocating women's rights.

However, throughout my time in school majoring in law, I realized more and more how much I enjoyed acting and modeling. I built a strong base for acting through competitive programs such as mock trial, where I won many awards for best witness and best attorney-- which requires acting out the scripts as though we were litigating a real-life case. I graduated from law school with pro bono honors recognition for doing over 120 hours of free legal help during my time in law school. My charity work is something that I am really proud of.
I wish to create a path for women like myself, who have struggled with self-confidence because my religion did not permit revealing my body in ways that the modeling career requires. I want to inspire women to have confidence in themselves for whatever career choice they so choose.

I'm inspired by many women such as Amal Clooney and Lilly Ghalichi, who not only set the bar high as female lawyers, but also maintain their careers in fashion in a beautiful way. I love learning and being inspired by strong women in the modeling/ acting industry and am open to learn more as time passes so I can refine my modeling and acting skills.

I've been working on a various fashion and brand promoting projects along with being featured as the main model for various different Hollywood and Bollywood music videos within the Los Angeles region. However, I will not shy away from any opportunities that come my way that would require traveling around the globe. I feel that being in this industry is a privilege and I will never stop working hard for maintaining my place within.
