About Me

Started sometime around 1998 or 1999 by Brian Deegan and Larry Linkogle, the Metal Mulisha has grown into the biggest, best and most bad-ass Freestyle Motocross team in the world. We sell clothes, too. Known for winning gold medals, breaking world records, and turning industry tradition upside down through the sport of freestyle motocross, pro riders Brian Deegan and Larry Linkogle launched Metal Mulisha Clothing in 1999.

What began as a group of friends riding dirt bikes in Metal Mulisha gear and competing to see who could do the best tricks has grown into one of the most recognized and respected brands in action sports. Metal Mulisha’s winning form in freestyle competitions like the X Games has helped spread the brand’s message to a growing audience around the world.

Metal Mulisha speaks the language of nonconformity with distinctive apparel that includes graphic tees, jerseys, boardshorts, fleece, tanks, denim and accessories; and encourages guys and girls to “join the domination” and express their rebellious spirit and daring attitude. A familiar name at events such as the Red Bull X Fighters, Rock Star Mayhem Tour, and the Dew Tour, Metal Mulisha boasts an A-list roster of well-known athletes including founder Brian Deegan, creator of the “Mulisha Twist;” and highly decorated freestyle riders, Ronnie Faisst, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, and the late Jeremy Lusk. Metal Mulisha has also formed partnerships with athletes including MMA fighters Renato “ Babalu” Sobral, Jason MacDonald and Dan Henderson, as well as metal band Machine Head.

Today, Metal Mulisha continues to fuel the rise of freestyle motocross, and is dedicated to improving guidelines for the sport. In 2009, Metal Mulisha established the LLF Lusk Legacy Foundation in an effort to promote safety in freestyle motocross after the passing of team rider, Jeremy Lusk.

The Metal Mulisha lifestyle continues to expand, launching product collaborations with major brands like Rock Star Energy and Etnies and introducing new product categories later this year. With strong distribution in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, Metal Mulisha can be found at over 2000 retailers worldwide.
