About Me

My portraiture draws inspiration from the works of such masters of light & shadow as George Hurrell, Yousuf Karsh, Gabriel Figueroa and Rembrandt. I photograph my subjects primarily in black & white and use dramatic cinematic lighting techniques to produce an aura of glamour and elegance unachievable with strobes or photo shop. As a published professional with more than 20 years' experience in the field, it is my firm belief that a portrait should be a timeless work of art – and the centerpiece of any room.
