Elisabete Companion was born in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Elisabete’s passion for photography began at the early at of 14 when she was introduced to photography through a seven day workshop hosted by Kodak. She continued to learn and enhance her skills through personal travels, family events, and practice.

Elisabete graduated from Liceu de Petropolis (Brazil), in 1987 with a degree in Accounting. She worked for 12 years as an executive assistant for a Brazilian retail company. In 2000, Elisabete moved to Orlando, FL to continue her education and learn about the United States.

In 2001, the events from Sept. 11 would forever change the world as we know it and Elisabete continued her passion of photography by using her keen perspective to capture life through her lense. She would take every opportunity to practice her photography and begin to dream of a life has a full time professional photographer.

In March, 2010 Elisabete officially launched her business, Lis Photography, which serves clients looking for professional portrait photography. Elisabete has continued to enhance her skills through education which has allowed her to add graphic design to her business services.

Elisabete’s business continues to blossom over the last year and she continues to impress with her passion and skill. She looks forward to growing and sharing her photos with the world.
