I have moved back to Grand Rapids area and I am available for photography as well as photo editing. Let's get together and do something fun, beautiful, and creative.

Honestly, in the interest of actually paying my bills, I am currently focusing on driving limos, party buses, and Uber, but I still have an artsy side that would love to do a shoot and some creative editing on the side. Besides, I still pay for Photoshop and need to do something with it.

I'm more of an image enhancement specialist, but retoucher is close enough. Photography is more than capturing great images these days. What you can do with those marvelous masterpieces of pixel-ness is more important. If you are a photographer, you know how the post-production process has become part of the creative process. You also know how much time can be invested in getting your images how you want them so they don't look like pictures someone can take with their iPhone (which, admittedly, these days they do a good job...almost too good...almost) . Perhaps you've gotten into photography because you have a weird fascination with shooting people, but don't want to go to jail. So you get an awesome camera and some cool toys to go with it and have found you end up spending more time staring at a computer screen than a viewfinder, and this is not what you signed up for. That's where I come in. I like taking my Canon to the firing range too, but Photoshop is my bigger playground. As much as I like playing around with my own images, I like playing around with other people's images better because sometimes I actually get paid for it. There's more to it than that, but, anyway, if you want to add me to your creative process I'm here for you.

Note about editing, mostly for models: The idea that a picture of you may need a little editing does not imply that you are not beautiful or there is something wrong with your body. If you wear makeup, or have ever worn hair extensions, fake nails, high heels, a girdle or slimming hose, a pushup bra, or anything else to enhance your body shape or hide something you don't want everyone to see, you are doing exactly what I do, only I do it in digital form. I edit more than you too. I may not even touch your image, but need to change something about the background or the image overall. It is my intention to make you look better in your images, but still you. So no need to go all Kiera Knightly on me and get offended because I want to edit your photos or do something creative with them. You can always tell me not to do certain types of edits, like body shaping, or if you want me to leave that mole on your cheek, I will do that. That doesn't mean you don't get your images edited at all. Most photos these days, especially in advertising, are edited to some degree. Get used to it, and thank your editor for making you look your best.

~ photos don't need to be professional quality - images you think are gunners may still be usable

Models: I'm here for you too. If you are in the Grand Rapids area, or plan to be, let's get together, have some fun, and end up with a plethora of pictorial perfections of your own. If you're not in Grand Rapids, you'll miss out on the awesomeness of working with me, but I can still edit your pictures, any pictures, even cell phone pictures. Just make sure you have permission to edit the pictures because wars have been fought over less than the fury of a photographer that feels his art has been compromised. Also, make sure the images have decent resolution and are mostly in focus. I can do a lot, but my magic does have limits.

~ quality images with potential for a high level of creativity
~ I want good images, not a date
~ will suggest a theme, but will never tell you what to wear
~ escorts always welcome (a 2 year old is not an escort, so try to find a babysitter)
~ to go with that, I've had FBI clearance to work around children in public school settings
~ I don't use a lot of cumbersome equipment, so shoots are quick
~ I'll shoot anywhere, though I prefer outdoors
~ you usually end up with around 20 edited images which start coming back to you same day
