I'm a Seattle-based advanced amateur photographer who is transitioning from a primarily landscape and nature based portfolio to working on portraits. At this time, my primary focus is on building a portfolio of high contrast portraits of women with freckles. I'd love to collaborate with models of any experience level, but regretfully can only offer images in exchange for your time. My average turn-around time for edited images is about 1 week.

As a bit of background, I am married with a three-year old son, and I work in the legal field. Technically speaking, I am just another GWC (guy with a camera), but I've had the privilege of working with several volunteer models already, and I think that the results of that collaboration show that I am good at making folks feel comfortable. I'm proud of the images we created together, and the feedback I've gotten has been very positive.

That being said, for the comfort and security of myself and models who choose to work with me, I prefer to shoot in a public location and use only available light. I think it puts everyone at ease, and has resulted in some great images. If my current project sounds appealing to you, please let me know! I'd love to meet you!
