I have been blessed in the past to have worked with extremely experienced models; now I would like to help new models create very beautiful portfolios.
I shoot for the mere enjoyment of photography, not really for a profession; so I welcome your Time for Images requests.  Not that I would turn down a paid shoot if offered.

My first rule is that the model feel safe and secure.  I welcome your escorts, as long as they are able to behave during the shoot.

My second rule is to have fun.  Being all stiff and serious does not provide a good foundation to build images upon.  If you enjoy listening to music, by all means bring it.  I usually have an iPod with me if you arrive sans music.

My third rule is we both sign and keep a model release.  I have no problems sending you an electronic copy prior to the shoot for your preview.

My fourth rule is Quality over Quantity; and I do not release unedited images.  I did this once and it was a disaster.  The model posted every image to their MySpace account and it was "major image overload".  Not one single image looked special when it was drowning next to everything else.

My fifth and final rule is more of a request.  As a photographer, I treat my equipment with respect.  As a model, please treat your outfit with respect.  There is nothing more heartbreaking than a model showing up for a shoot and all of their outfits are stuffed in a few plastic grocery bags.  Unfortunately, I do not have a clothes steamer to take out the wrinkles. I recommend buying a few garment bags from your favorite clothing store.  In the past I have bought a few from Macy's and Nordstrom.  However, the best priced ones I found were from The Men's Warehouse which were around $6 each.
